Delicious Geography: Chocolate City Maps

Shanghai design studio RONG has developed a series of experimental chocolates for AMENO, a chocolate brand.  The geometric designs of chocolate bars are meant to evoke the urban patterns of Beijing, Paris, Berlin, and Barcelona.

Each city is represented by a section of that city’s grid. For Paris, the pattern replicates the grand boulevards that crisscross.

The Barcelona version copies the Eixample district with its wide avenues and square blocks with chamfered corners.

The chocolate prototypes were produced with a variety of flavors: matcha, strawberry, white, dark and original.  The inside of the package highlights landmarks found in each city like this one for Berlin:

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find if they have been produced for sale (at least not online).
